Un instituto de investigación búlgaro con más de 40 años de experiencia en I+D en el campo de tecnologías y productos especializados ha desarrollado una unidad electrónica para telémetros láser que garantiza un alto rango de medida (5 - 20000 metros), mediciones por minuto, precisión de la medida de 4 metros y gran capacidad de memoria para el almacenamiento de datos. A Bulgarian research institute, with over 40 years of experience in R-Y-D of specialised technologies and products, has developed an electronic unit applicable for laser rangefinders ensuring high measurement range, measurements per minute, precision of measurement and large memory capacity for the measurement data storage. The institute is looking for commercial agreements with technical assistance with laser and electronics companies.
Description:
The Bulgarian research unit is the leading R-Y-D institution in the country for aerospace technologies, design, development and transfer of innovative methods, instrumentation and technologies for remote sensing, regional and global monitoring of the environment and security. It also has research activities in the field of new superhard materials application. The institute has implemented successfully various national and international projects with partners.

The innovative device developed has measurement distance range from 50 to 20000 meters, allowing measurement of up to 12 targets in a straight line. The precision of the measurement is 4 meters. The laser range finder has an integrated compass and clock (day/month/year/hour/minute/second). The remote control has a range of up to 30 meters. The specialised device has the capability to store up to 220 targets with a measurements rate of up to 6 targets per minute. The electronic unit has specially developed remote control software.

The institute seeks commercial agreements with technical assistance with companies willing to integrate the device in their products receiving expertise and know-how from the institute.
Advantages and Innovations:
- the device ensures is very accuracy, has a high measurement rate, allowing to target up to 12 targets in a straight line;
- the control software allows for targets memory capacity to store up to 220 targets with their parameters which is with at least 25 percent higher in comparison to other devices;
- the unit can be operated remotely from a long range (30 meters) which is a unique feature.
