Una empresa alemana ha desarrollado un nuevo controlador de calentadores de inmersión para transformar la electricidad producida por un sistema fotovoltaico en calor. Esta solución permite un mejor control y acceso de energías renovables para el consumo propio por el productor. El controlador detecta el exceso de corriente, calcula la energía disponible y la redirige a un calentador eléctrico. El exceso de corriente fotovoltaica puede convertirse directamente en energía térmica y almacenarse. Gracias a un registrador de datos o módulo de comunicación, la corriente generada puede visualizarse a través de un portal web. La empresa busca socios con el fin de establecer acuerdos comerciales con asistencia técnica.

A German company has developed a new immersion heater controller for converting electricity produced e.g. by a photovoltaic system into heat.

In our days the problem is that photovoltaic systems produce energy mainly for the public grid and it is difficult to controll the use of the produced enery for the own consumption.

The immersion heater controller detects excess current, e.g. produced by photovoltaic systems (PV), calculates the energy available and redirects it to an electric heater. Thus, excess PV current can be directly converted into thermal energy and stored. By means of a data-logger or the communication module, the self-generated current can be visualised via an Internet portal.

How it works: the PV system produces energy while the sun is shining. The energy produced is used as household power, e.g. demostic or elctrical appliances. The controller redirects the the excess energy to an electric heater for heating the store. When the store is loaded, the surplus energy can be fed into the public grid.

So owners of a PV system has that syste the advantage they have lower heating costs. Also they are independet from the energy market and have more reductions of CO2 emissions.rend
The systems allows the optimations of a PV system, so that first the own consumption is covered.
