Description:
The Bulgarian SME has research and development activities in the electronics, microelectronics, high frequency, microwave, embedded software and prototyping sectors. The company has experience in international joint projects with research institutions and companies.

The crop and food industries faces many challenges in order to ensure consistent product quality, strong customer loyalty and maximum production efficiency. In-process measurement and close control of critical process parameters, such as moisture,
fat or protein, present significant opportunity for crop and food manufacturers to achieve the needed quality and production goals
Moreover, since many food products are bought and sold by weight, moisture content is a key component in ensuring accuracy for purchasing raw materials. Food products or animal feed with too much moisture can cost plants excessive money.
Water in food products also affects various characteristics of the product that are important to its taste, texture, color, density, particle size, etc. Some of the more important considerations are: amount of dry product in the mix (concentration), stability to microbiological growth, flow characteristics, nutritional quality, adherence to government statutes, storage longevity, and mix character in liquids (for agglomerated products).

The principle of operation of the developed device is to measure the attenuation of certain frequencies when the radio signal passes through the material measured. The innovative product fits silos or storage vessels in a production line. The working temperature is with a broad range from - 25 to + 60 degrees Celsius. Forced cooling may be applied for higher operating temperatures. Measured products can be all kinds of grains and vegetables, animal feed and fish, and others with a humidity of 5 to 30 percent. Reporting software works with all operating systems and records the reported results in the files. Graphical representation of results is also available.
- power - 100-220 volts, 1 ampere. Capable of being powered by 12 to 36 volts, 0.75 amperes power supply and used may be used in environments where there is danger of fire;
- the interface is a standard base ethernet, has standard electrical interface 4-20 milliamperes (may be 0-20 milliamperes; or 0-24 milliamperes - according to the needs of the client) that can be used to control industrial processes such as drying, moisture and others.
