Description:
The integral RF microchip is a transceiver with a low intermediate frequency (307,4 kHz) in the receiving path and frequency shift directly in the frequency synthesiser in transmission path. Demodulation and decoding of received signals is carried out in the digital processing path.

As a communication interface with the host controller, a SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) is used.
The main technical characteristics of the integral RF microchip:
1) Sensibility: at least 100 dBmW;
2) Adjacent-channel selectivity: minimum 45 dB;
3) Image channel cancellation: minimum 30 dB;
4) Maximum undistorted output: 0 dBmW;
5) Variation range of power output: from -15 to +5 dBmW;
6) Radiation level on harmonic components of signal output: maximum 40 dBmW;
7) Chip size: 4mm x 4mm.

Advantages and Innovations:

- A low intermediate frequency in the receiving path,
- image channel reduction using a polyphase filter, and
- frequency creation on the basis of MASH-structure -
allow to obtain parameters of transceiver (adjacent-channel selectivity, intermodulation selectivity and image channel cancellation) better then leading foreign analogues.

Parameters of the new chip in comparison with the leading foreign analogue:
Intermodulation selectivity (± 1MHz ± 2MHz): min 45 dB against 40 dB;
Adjacent-channel selectivity (± 400 kHz): min 45 dB against 28 dB;
Image channel cancellation: min 35 dB, against 23 dB.
