Description:
Fire tube steam boilers are common steam and heat generating systems used extensively in Industry. Environmental regulations were tightened considerably requiring low NOX's (Nitrogen-Oxides) emissiones in flue gases from these boilers. The offered package reduces these emissions by 50% using the automatic injection of a urea or ammonia solution into the boiler's flame. The injection is adapted to all flame phases and the system was applied successfully to buners using heavy, extra heavy, and light fuel oils. This combustion technology, SNCR (Selective Non Catalytic Reduction), is public domain and flame temperatures need to be above 900 degrees Celsius. The technology can be adapted to boilers using diesel fuel, gas oil, or natural gas. The package is self contained and consists of an injector, dosing pumps, control cabinet and a solution container. It requires a compressed air source of 2 bars and a 3-Phase electrical connection of 380 Volts. Its innovation lies in its availability as a packaged unit ready to be added on to an existing boiler and operating automatically at low operational cost. Its potential lies in its use in all kinds of steam boilers and fuel burning facilities.
