Una universidad y empresa andaluzas han desarrollado un sistema basado en estructuras modulares capaz de incorporar sistemas de calefacción por suelo utilizando tuberías con conductos de ventilación. Este nuevo sistema ofrece las siguientes ventajas: reducción del precio por la eliminación de pasos en el proceso de instalación, prevención de la condensación superficial del aire ambiente y transferencia de calor mejorada dentro del espacio. Se buscan fabricantes interesados en explotar y licenciar la patente.

An Andalusian University, with the collaboration with an Andalusian company, is looking for manufacturers to exploiting a funding under patent license. They have developed an invention related to a system using modular structures which constitutes a solution for some problems. It enables the incorporation of under floor heating using pipes with circulating air vent.
Description:
HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) refers to technology of indoor or automotive environmental comfort. A wide range of these systems provide buildings with the adequate thermal and moisture conditions. Under floor heating, placed under the ground surface with a leveling layer of mortar that use either electrical resistance elements ("electric systems") or fluid flowing in pipes ("hydronic systems") to heat the floor, constitutes one of these HVAC systems.
When a certain space requires under floor heating with fluid flowing pipes, two fundamental problems are encountered. In first place, the space´s soil temperature shall not drop below dew point, because then water vapor condenses into liquid water with the consequent overturning-risk, mildew appearing, etc. The second problem refers to the cooling of the air which is in contact with the soil, thus increasing its density and tending to be retained in the bottom and causing low heat transfer rates.
Furthermore, for any use of under floor heating it´s important to point out the mandatory installation of fresh air supply systems in order to guarantee existing air quality regulations. Hence, floor heating systems cannot be used without the incorporation of a ventilation system. The present inventions constitutes a solution for this problem and relates to a system using modular structures that enable the incorporation of under floor heating using pipes with circulating air vent. The institution is interested in licensing agreement.

Compared with currently available methods, this new system has the following advantages:
· Price reduction by eliminating steps in the installation process.
· Prevents the surface condensation of the ambient air.
· Improved heat transfer within the space.
