PAC has more improved anchorage performance than stud-type because of its geometric characteristics of the head embedded in the concrete


1) Anchor Head - More long & parallel perimeter for Effective Anchorage.

The critical factor for low bearing pressure is local crushing area(red zone) is strongly affected by the geometric perimeter. And long & parallel perimeter under the anchor head, especially adjacent to axis. Plates-welded anchor head completely satisfies this requirements. And this is especially useful for safety relevant area in nuclear facilities.

2) Channel (Sub-Anchor)- Shear force parallel to an edge causes concrete breakout. And the concrete failure is generally influenced with the channel depth and edge distance.

The newly added sub-anchor allows much more loads to be taken up at edge zones where shear loads occur. This not only increase ability for shear loads, but also simplifies planning works. The system, furthermore, provides a lasting high flexibility during the entire useful life of the building.

This is especially useful for safety relevant area in nuclear facilities with its outstanding anchorage performance.

- Convenient Installation
PAC can be self-standing on the bottom-formwork using the spacer. This is stable and more effective to install regardless of field conditions. And then it is fixed with tying wire to rebars. It does not need fixing to form-work.
- Economocal to produce
It's effective that steel plate is cut to pieces by press. Anchor stem is solidly welded to channel and head plate.
