El dispositivo utiliza un efecto piezoeléctrico y permite inyectar repetidamente una amplia variedad de medicamentos. Se trata de un dispositivo de pequeño tamaño y ergonómico que puede conectarse a un ordenador o nube de datos para recoger, gestionar y analizar los datos médicos relacionados con la inyección requerida en el tratamiento. Description:
A French Technology Transfer Office (TTO) is acting on behalf a major hospital and research group in the Paris region that has designed an innovative needleless device for multiple injections of drugs.

* Market challenges :
Subcutaneous injection of drugs is a routine practice in medical settings (for short or long term treatments) and a key tool of public health programs such as vaccination campaigns.
The injection has got several drawbacks, mostly due to the use of a needle : poor compliance, risk of contamination, difficulty of self-administration.

* State of the art :
Needle-free gas or spring injection systems are not optimal because they are bulky and their reliability is limited by the inherent constraints of mechanical systems. Moreover, these devices are one-shot injection systems.

* Proposed technology :
The invention is a needle-free device for multiple injections of drugs that uses the piezoelectric effect. The system makes possible repeated injections of a wide variety of drugs. Moreover, the size of this new system is small and it is ergonomic. It can be connected to a computer or a data cloud that collects, manages and analyses the medical data related to the injection required by the treatment. It can thus be a key tool for personalized medicine (dosage, compliance, etc.).
