Un centro de I+D ucraniano ofrece pigmentos inhibidos nanoestructurados para revestimientos anticorrosivos basados en clinoptilolita natural modificada con zinc y cationes de magnesio y calcio. Los pigmentos inhibidos presentan una buena dispersión, son ecológicos y tienen propiedades altamente protectoras. Estos pigmentos se utilizan para modificar revestimientos alquídicos, de epoxi y poliuretano y proteger vehículos, edificios y equipos de diversas industrias contra la corrosión en condiciones atmosféricas. El centro de investigación busca socios interesados en mejorar y probar la tecnología y establecer acuerdos de cooperación en materia de investigación.

Inhibited pigments are well-dispersed, environmentally friendly and have high protective properties. Research cooperation agreement would be preferred with partners who are interested in improving and testing this technology.
Description:
Nanostructured inhibited pigments for anticorrosive coatings based on natural clinoptilolite modified with zinc, calcium and manganese cations are proposed by developer. Ukrainian R-Y-D institution and it employees has great decades of experience in field of creation and research of nanostructured inhibited pigments for anticorrosive coatings. Fields of application of inhibited pigments are modification of alkyd, epoxy, polyurethane primer coatings used for corrosion protection of vehicles, building structures and equipment of various industries in atmospheric conditions. Desirable type of partnerships is research cooperation agreement. Main aim of future cooperation is promotion and improving of existing technology.
Advantages and Innovations:
Inhibited pigments can form synergistic composition with zinc phosphate. One of the main advantages is high ion exchange capacity and effective interaction with polymer binder due to the presence of up to 50 vol% of nanopores. The protective effect of the pigments can be seen at the beginning of corrosion. Inhibited pigments need cheap raw materials for production.
