Description:
University from Latvia, involved in agriculture, has developed a new technique of wax coloring. Wax is one of the apiculture products which are used in various wax products such as beeswax candles. Often, acquiring bees wax, melting it in the water, it has unattractive color, such as gray. For the wax to be used in various wax-based products, the poor shade should be removed by cleaning the wax and afterwards coloring it. In the coloring process of purified beeswax are added the natural plant materials, which dye beeswax in natural color. Such dyed purified wax, with natural plant raw materials, can make beeswax with different tones.
University is offering technical cooperation agreement in order to provide interested parties with secret know-how of beeswax coloring.
Advantages and Innovations:
The aim of the invention is purified beeswax coloring with natural herbal raw materials, resulting in a natural beeswax color.
The university offers secret know-how of wax coloring by:
- inserting beeswax in natural dyes of pollen extract;
- inserting beeswax in filtrate of carrot juice;
- inserting beeswax in turmeric filtrate.
