Description:
The company offers to the market the developed effective process to manufacture biodiesel from waste materials. A chemical process when natural oils react with alcohol results in methyl esters commonly called biodiesel. Such a reaction requires a catalyst and heat to occur. The company has developed an enzymatic system catalyst (further: ESC) to provide the above mentioned reactions in a single step process. The developed ESC is the most effective and advanced on the market and is the only one able to work in true continuous flow systems. The developed single-step process, with no degumming, no wastewater treatment, fewer washes and no final polishing significantly reduces the amount of the steps used and so the processing time.
As the ESC works with any type of FOG (fatty organic greese) - including undegummed crude oils and high FFA feedstocks, such as brown grease and PFAD (palm fatty acid distilled - then the product possesses the flexible feedstock.
Reaction time of just minutes means the system works in true continuous flow - unlike other enzymes, which take many hours to react in batch processes.
Reaction temperatures of only 35 degrees and the above efficiencies mean a guarantee of cost saving by switching to the offered system, no matter if the currently produced biodiesel´s source is soybean oil or brown grease.
The glycerin, used in the process, is crystal clear and 50% purer than that in a conventional method. Any alcohol, including non-dehydrated methanol and ethanol, can be used to further save costs.
The offered biodiesel made from reclaimed oils - has essential advantages over those on the market (1-st generation fuels made of virgin oils). In addition to the above advantages, the technology is capable for processing all the organic materials, up to those containing 100% FFA (free fatty acid). The technology manages to convert any type of organic feedstock into manufacturing biodiesel.
The technology is extremely cost-efficient, and this is achieved via consuming less performance energy, time and working temperature than in conventional methods. Both the ingredients involved and resulted are environmentally friendly.
The partners may come from fuel / biofuel production industry; waste treatment plants; industries using energy supply via diesel, oil (electric supply, power stations, mining, agricultural industry), automotive industry etc.
The company has been on the market since 2009 and since 2012 working in high-tech for automotive field.
The company is looking for joint venture (e.g., for implementation (with adapting) of the process -Y- product in new markets, license, manufacturing and technical cooperation agreement.
Advantages and Innovations:
An enzymatic system (concept -Y- working body) is world new.
The biodiesel made of waste greases in the developed technology has the following advantages:
1.Produces 7 times more energy than it is supplied into the process.
2.Causes 86% reduction in carbon emissions life cycle as compared to petro diesel. This is a significant improvement from the 1-st generation biodiesel, which provides for only 54% reduction.
3.Does not impact on either food crop prices or need for extra farm land thereby avoiding the negative externalities of the first-generation biofuel.
4.Is much cheaper (also due to waste greases) than a conventional biodiesel, which feedstock costs account for 70 - 80% of the total production costs.
5.Prevents the sewage system from risks and costs associated with entering waste greases there etc.
