Description:
Sound and vibration engineering is an important and very challenging part of product design. The product´s sound and vibration performance as such is most often shaped iteratively during the product development process. The iterative design cycles involve physical prototypes, which are both costly and time consuming.

This Dutch SME develops intuitive and user-friendly applications that guide engineers through all steps of sound -Y- vibration analysis. This helps them solve vibration-related issues in an early stage of product development.

The technology which allows measurements of structural dynamics to be coupled to finite element method (FEM), as if the measurement were a super element. Using the virtual point transformation a nodal description of the measurement is obtained which allows interfacing between the experimental and numerical world.

The company is looking for a technical cooperation with software companies for interfacing with their simulation product. The cooperation should lead to an intergration of their measurement and analysis applications for vibration and sound analysis into the partners software. With a viable product in place a partnerships can extend to crosselling of products.
