Una empresa polaca especializada en tratamiento de aguas residuales ha desarrollado una nueva tecnología de tratamiento de aguas residuales orgánicas que reduce los costes de construcción de plantas de tratamiento gracias al uso de lechos especiales de biomasa que permiten hacer una cubicación más pequeña de la planta. Este nuevo método de aireación es energéticamente eficiente y sustituye a los agitadores y bombas de recirculación de aguas residuales, ahorrando energía una vez más. Los lechos no necesitan mantenimiento porque tienen función de limpieza automática. La empresa busca socios con el fin de establecer acuerdos de licencia o comercialización con asistencia técnica.

A Polish company active in wastewater treatment has developed new technology of treating organic wastewater. It reduces wastewater treatment plants´ construction costs by using special beds inhabited with biomass what allows construction of smaller plants´ cubature. This new aeration method is energy efficient and in addition it replaces wastewater recirculation pumps and stirrers saving energy again. The company is searching partners for license/commercial agreements with technical assistance.
Description:
A Polish company, planner and contactor of wastewater treatment (WWT) plants has developed new technology for treating organic wastewater. It is an innovative hybrid technology of biological wastewater treatment. It consists in cultivation of bigger amount of biomass taking part in treatment process by installation in the same cubature special flow beds for additional, needed, auxiliary bacteria. Beds don´t need any operation nor maintenance as they are constructed in the way they are able for self-cleaning process. Wastewater treatment plants using this new system meet the requirements of deep nutrient (nitrogen and phosphorus) removal . When using the new technology it is enough to divide existing cubature of biological reactor with walls constructed in panels of new type of beds covered with biomass. No need of constructing additional space in the WWT plant. In this way we have separate functional areas divided by oxygen barriers. These areas are necessary for integrated process for elimination of the carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus. Oxygen in this new solution is being delivered by patented by the company air stream bottom aerators. Wastewater recirculation is also conducted by patented air stream bottom aerators without additional energy consumption eliminating a need of wastewater recirculation pumps and stirrers usage.
The new technology used in new constructed plants allows usage of relatively smaller cubature of process tanks. This means significantly reduced investment outlays.
In existing plants, where the capacity or pollution load removal enhancement is needed this new technology allows better usage of cubature and improvement of treatment quality.
The high-performance aeration system eliminating recirculation pumps and the majority of stirrers usage significantly reduces energy consumption what means lower exploitation costs.

The company is looking for industrial/service partners offering on their local markets projects for building of new WWT plants, or modernization/reconstruction/ improvements plans of existing ones. They would like to sign a license agreement or a commercial agreement with technical assistance.
