The Dutch company has developed cost-effective unique technology focused on the conversion of green-waste streams, like small branches, grass clippings and roadside ditch dirty, towards basic raw materials or high-quality energy.

Due to societal pressure there is increasing awareness for making the entire production chain more sustainable and ready for the transition towards a bio-based economy. Within a bio-based economy the intention is to use biomass as efficiently as possible: all components are optimally used and residual flows are minimised. In an ideal situation extra land-use is not necessary if the biomass is completely utilised. And, later on in the different value chains, the residual flows of biomass can be exchanged mutually for an optimal utilisation, including the avoidance of competition among food, feed and fuel.

The transition from a oil-based towards a the bio-based economy is still in its infancy and there remains a lot to be done. To improve this situation the company has developed an innovative cost-effective system for processing green-waste streams. This system derives constituents for the production of feed, food, fuel or the active ingredient ingredients. It consists of state of the art coupled technologies related to biomass processing and sustainable energy: crushing technology, fluidized bed gasification, pyrolysis or combustion, heat excess exchange techniques, techniques that distribute flue gasses (CO2), composting techniques and residual nutrients. This system can be, for instance, the starting point for a sustainable algae farm producing algae-paste. The algae-paste forms the basis for products which should find their way in the feed, food, fuel or the active ingredient high-end market.

In order to expand their market, the Dutch company is seeking partners that are active in biomass fermentation, algae farming, production of bioethanol, and industries that use wastewater treatment or use heat and CO2 excess e.g. beer brewers or soft drinks manufacturers, farmers and growers, within the framework of a commercial agreement with technical assistance. Support can be provided at bio-refinery techniques like high quality composting, fermentation techniques, fluidized bed heat treatments systems, high quality energy recovery, usage of excess heat, flue gases and CO2, treatment of wastewater streams with residual nutrients.
