The Russian company from the Kursk region, founded in 2012, has become a manufacturer highly specialized in the production of medical materials today.
The actual problem of modern surgery is the excessive formation of cicatricial adhesions after any injury, including after surgical interventions. The most modern direction in the prevention of adhesions (postoperative scar adhesions) is the application of barrier means (gels, membranes). Adhesions can displace organs relative to their normal localization, pull, and move them to a new, unnatural position. Physio procedures are currently used in medicine to treat adhesions, but they do not always help soften scars (adhesions) and restore tissue elasticity.
The Russian company has produced an innovative gel that helps fight spikes.
Antiadhesin gel is designed to prevent adhesions after operations on organs and tissues with a serous coating (abdominal cavity, tendon sheaths, joints, pleural cavity, etc). The gel can be used in operations where there is a risk of soft tissue adhesion. For example, during operations on the neck, when there is a high risk of scar formation through all layers of the neck. The product can be used as a setting gel in plastic surgery. The therapeutic effect of the gel is associated with the creation of an artificial temporary barrier between damaged tissues, which ensures the effective separation of surfaces during their healing. After the application of the gel in the area of ¿¿the operative field, the substance adheres without spreading to the anatomical surfaces and forms a viscous lubricating coating.
The gel contains highly purified sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, obtained without the use of genetically modified microorganisms. The hyaluronic acid molecule is able to retain water molecules, due to which it successfully suppresses the inflammatory process after surgery. The gel is completely safe. It consists of biologically safe biodegradable substances and is completely resorbed after 28-30 days after application. The gel is delivered with a sterile syringe with an application catheter. One package of anti-adhesive gel contains 2 syringes with a volume of 20 ml.
