Description:
The latest statistics of social media show rapid growth of social network users. In 2019, it is estimated around 2.55 billion social network users. During the last 10 years, social networks became very useful tool for marketing analysis (e.g. evaluation of success of a new product or campaign launch). There are many social media analytic technologies but a sentiment analysis (also opinion mining) is the most spread method for marketing analysis of social media. This analysis is a kind of NLP (natural language processing) for tracking the mood of the public about a particular product or topic. Current technologies based on NLP express mass opinions only through sentiment polarity figures (positive, negative, neutral) and word clouds. Therefore, obtained information does not allow enough flexible and competent reaction.

The Czech university spin-off whose research team has more than 12 years´ experience in NLP starts where the best sentiment analysis providers end - a state-of-the-art automatic detection of text polarity. The developed semantic engine goes deeper and analyses discussed topics and extracts key opinions that majority of customers wrote. Thanks to this, companies can better understand customer´s needs and better target and evaluate marketing campaigns. Moreover companies can flexibly react on specific events (for example crisis events such as the Diesel-gate affair).
