Description:
Since its establishment, this Korea SME has developed and manufactured satellite DMB field measuring equipment, signal generator and the first-generation satellite DMB receiving modem chips based on the UWB (Ultra Wide Band) modem ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) prototype.

The company has world best satellite navigation technologies with high accuracy and high sensitivity structure. Also, it has developed Real Time Locating System(RTLS) using its own unique positioning algorithm, and this can be applied to multilateration system.
Moreover, it has a technology of communication and broadcasting modems and on top of it, the company has an experience of mass production of ASIC to supply to mobile phone manufacturers.

A power consumption problem on the terminal unit arose when setting up an object tracking and controlling system. Of course, when the service area is limited, it has no problem. But when the service range becomes boarder, satellite navigation method should be used to check the location.

Since all battery based services have been proved to have a problem of power consumption, the SME has developed a low power solution by applying positioning solution on the cloud-based server to solve this problem. At the terminal unit side, operating time has been minimized and through this basic information can be confirmed on the server. Even when receiving signals from satellites is not consistent, the solution can work perfectly.

The technology can be used to track logistics, assets, victims of an accident, pets, wild animals or to manage facilities. Compared to conventional object tracking/control system, it achieves lower power consumption, higher performance GPS navigation based on its own unique algorithm. The company is seeking a partner to open its new market in Europe and expecting a commercial agreement with technical assistance such as technical consultancy.
