Un laboratorio serbio ha desarrollado una tecnología de síntesis de revestimientos de diamante en herramientas industriales de corte y perforación de diversos materiales. La síntesis de revestimientos de diamante puede aplicarse en sustratos planos y cilíndricos. El uso de revestimientos de diamante permite ahorrar energía, reducir el desgaste y mejorar el rendimiento. La vida útil de las herramientas aumenta hasta un 50%. Se buscan socios con el fin de establecer acuerdos de cooperación técnica, financiación o comercialización con asistencia técnica.

Description:
The Serbian laboratory has developed technology for diamond coatings synthesis on cutting and drilling tools of various substrate materials. A protective diamond tool-coating is chemically driven process. It is achieved by a hot filament chemical vapor deposition method from various gaseous atmospheres. The technology consists of a classic thermal method supported by CO2 laser, in order to take advantages of both methods. Diamond coating synthesis can be applied on planar and cylindrical substrates. The use of coatings gives rise to numerous areas of energy saving, wear reduction, and performance improvement. For example, the use of coatings can eliminate the need to use a vacuum furnace by allowing brazing to be performed in air. The laboratory is looking for business collaboration in form of commercial agency agreement with technical assistance, financial agreement or technical cooperation agreement
Advantages and Innovations:
Protective diamond coatings are a technology developed to enhance hardness and wear performances of industrial cutting and drilling tools. Tool life can be extended by up to 50% or cutting rates can be increased by 50%. Using a diamond coating also enhance the tool protrusion for faster, cleaner cutting. Additionally, improved cutting performances could be used to reduce tool power consumption.
