Description:
The sophisticated fully automated waste sorting system is adaptable to varying conditions such as waste quantities, waste compositions and to the desired sorting result e.g. specific targeted fractions. The sorting principle is based on the density of the individual waste items. Bulk waste is continuously fed onto a conveyor belt and transported to the conveyor head. The dropping parabola of the waste stream is determined by a continuous adjustable airflow in moving direction. All the heavier items e.g. tins, bottles, larger plastic containers etc. fall down onto a discharging belt. Lighter material e.g. foils or light packaging gets sucked away by a "light material / wind separator" onto another belt / storing container. This basic principle separates waste reliably into two fractions. Adjustable through the speed of the conveyor belt, the air flow and the suction power of the unit and depending on the waste composition the through-put rate ranges from about 8 tonnes to 30 tonnes per hour.
To achieve a higher degree of separation with a 3rd fraction, the system can be extended by another rotating drum, which transports the medium to light waste items to a second drop and a second wind separator. Reliable separation at almost 100% purity of the sorted waste is achieved by respective air flows at the drop(s) and the precise suction power of the wind separators.
All sorting units are equipped with air filtering facilities and air-recirculation systems.
The company offers commercial agreements with technical assistance to manufacturers of complete recycling plants for system integration.
