The main practical advantages of the system are its flexibility and simplicity of use. Operating organization and municipal responsible persons can control the current mode of lighting network operation via Internet even from mobile phone, and for detection of faults, there is no need to switch on lighting at the day time, since all diagnostics is carried out automatically. Street lights are equipped with electronic start and control devices that operate without losses, and special receivers of control commands receive the latter at each light via electric network. The state of electric lines and all equipment is monitored by a computer program.
