Se trata de un producto único que representa una nueva aplicación de microcontroladores de tipo PIC (controlador de interfaz periférica) en monitorización de vibraciones. A diferencia de otras soluciones, este sistema es más económico y se adapta a los requisitos individuales del cliente. El sistema ha sido desarrollado para satisfacer una serie de demandas: plataforma de monitorización basada en el uso de PC, bajo coste, portabilidad y resolución de 12 bit. La empresa busca socios con el fin de establecer acuerdos de licencia y desarrollar conjuntamente nuevas aplicaciones.

In comparison to other solution for vibration monitoring, this system is less expensive and can be customized for individual customer´s request. The system is available for licensing and/or joint development of new applications.
Description:
Company has ten year of experience research and development of PIC based vibration monitoring system. These systems have been successfully applied in many private and public companies in city of Nis. Hardware which is used is the 10bit MC, upgraded with 12/bit A/D converter. Software for acquisition and data analysis is optimized for testing turbo pumps. System can be applied in order to establish the operating condition of pumping aggregates. System can be applied on numerous measurements on wide range of turbo aggregates in order to establish the
operating condition of pumping aggregates.

The development of noninvasive methods of monitoring enabled the transition from preventive to predictable maintenance. There are various indicators for machine condition (temperature, pressure...); however, the method of use vibration monitoring for determination of machine operating conditions was proved the best. Monitoring system based on MC is developed because vibrations-based monitoring is used in large number of cases for determining machine condition. This system is created to meet certain demands: monitoring platform based on use of common PC, low cost of the device, mobility, 12bit resolution and application on rotational machines.

Micro-controllers (MC) are electronic components designed to develop electronic systems for digital command and control.
With the use of such systems it is possible to control several electronic devices and systems, to collect and process
various electric and nonelectric quantities. Digital systems based on micro-controllers are programmed to perform distinct processing depending on condition of control circuit, and to assume command in circuit by using gained results of
this processing.

There is a very wide range for micro-controller usage, because they can be programmed, depending on the desired usage,
to obtain the type of behavior of the digital device we design.
Considering micro systems for vibration monitoring, the signal characteristics determine the system accuracy and the quality of vibration monitoring in general. Selection of the micro-controller that is a base for micro system has been done primarily considering economical aspects of newly developed system which is PC (personal computer) dependent. Microchip, a company that is producing micro-controllers for more then a decade, as well as micro-controller PIC16F877A, that has been developed as symbioses of microprocessor (CPU), memory and periphery, there for PIC is acronym for (Peripheral Interface Controller). This micro-controller is based on CMOS technology with RISC architecture and implemented FLASH and EEPROM memories. Thus, PIC16F877A represents the best compromise between price and technology. Main signal characteristics that have been chosen as main requirements for the design of an optimal micro system are: resolution, stability and repeat-ability of signal. In order to fulfill requirement of resolution an A/D converter is added, since micro-controller has 10bit resolution, a MCP3204 12bit A/D converter is connected via SPI connection protocol.
