Description:
A German SME offers an innovative spray coating system which can be applied in various branches. Principally, the innovative system can ideally be adjusted to the manufacturing need of thin and uniform coating films down to sub-micron thicknesses of low viscosity materials. The system reaches up to 99% of coating transfer efficiency, meaning a highly cost effective solution. The company is looking for fuel cells, anode, cathode manufacturers, and medical device manufacturers (for example for stents, synthetic skin or patches), with the need of a uniform coating process down to sub-micron scale. It is already used in fuel cells and medical technology applications. Also applications in the sectors of medical technology devices, solar and semiconductor applications in general are realised with this system. The cooperation envisaged includes the system adaption and setting up, technical trainings and technical pre-sales and after-sales services.
This system technology does not use a nozzle. Conventionally air-atomizing spray guns or ultrasonic spray nozzle solutions are mainly used for application fields like display, semiconductor, fuel cells, solar, medical and electronics assembly, but do commonly not work on sub-micron scales.
The SME is interested in commercial agreements with technical assistance. The Technical assistance in starting up the installation will be envisaged as well the advice on the use of the new process. Also technical trainings, maintenance and machine repair as after-sales support services are included. Also research institutes with the need of an innovative coating equipment as described above, are of interest. Companies and institutes in Czech Republic, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Russia and countries from the Benelux region are of interest.

The SME deals mainly with equipment, parts -Y- consumables and offers pre-sales and after- sales services in the fields of green energies and semiconductors.
Advantages and Innovations:
Thin, uniform and repeatable coating films down to sub-micron scale are possible. 99% of coating transfer efficiency is achieved, meaning a cost-effective system compared to other coating systems like spray guns. System prices range between 50 000 -Y-euro; up to 300 000 -Y-euro; depending on the exact specifications and the degree of automation (from benchtop to roll to roll multi nozzle systems for the high end).
