Description:
A Korean institute has developed the water treatment system using plasma underwater discharge. The technology of the institute performs underwater electric discharge using plasma electrode and produces bubbles. This method acquires same effect with the existing flotation method by raising the contaminant absorbed in the bubble to the water surface.

The water treatment system eliminates the contaminants of the waste water and purifies the water. The general water treatment system requires large and wide space to precipitate the contaminant.

Yet it is difficult to secure large space and bad odor is resulted from the precipitation of the contaminant. Accordingly, the pressure flotation method which utilizes narrow space is used. The dissolved air flotation, the most widely used pressure flotation method, has relatively low flow rate in the constant area.
Furthermore, the pressure tank operation of the dissolved air flotation costs much.

The institute is looking for companies interested in adopting this technology through license agreement or commercial agreement with technical assistance. Partners in the field of environmental science technology in and type, industry, research, and university are sought.
