Un centro de investigación francés ha desarrollado y patentado un nuevo dispositivo hexápodo con capacidad de carga adaptable y sistema de aislamiento flexible para movimientos precisos y controlados. Este sistema puede reproducirse a diferentes escalas y funciona en condiciones ambientales extremas. El dispositivo tiene una estructura de reanudación de esfuerzo integrada en el primer soporte y otra acoplada al segundo soporte. Sus aplicaciones industriales son numerosas: sector aeroespacial, seguridad, industria nuclear, etc. Se buscan socios con el fin de establecer acuerdos de licencia o cooperación técnica/investigación.

Description:
A hexapod system is a device with a great deal of flexibility, thanks to a 6-legged movement capability.
The French research center has developed and patented such system for numerous industrial applications; of which aerospace / security / nuclear sectors.
The device has a structure of effort resumption which is on the one hand embedded on the first support, and on the other hand coupled with the second support by a connection kneecap. That structure makes it possible to take again the sharp efforts, and to dedicate the effort of the actuators to the rotation movements. Each articulation can thus present an obstruction and a reduced weight. Of this fact the whole of the structure presents a reduced weight.
- Adaptable loading capability by using adequate actuator features and number of hexapod levels.
- Reproducibility at several scales: the prototype diameter ranges from 600 - 700 millimeters, but it can be decreased to operate in slender holes.
- Flexible insulating systems: the system rotation center is always located in the system volume. That point allows avoiding a sheath rupture.
- Operating medium: underwater, high temperature (200 °C), high pressure (2.105 Pa).
