El producto se encuentra en fase de desarrollo y debe registrarse conforme a los reglamentos de dispositivos médicos. Este dispositivo se utiliza en el tratamiento y prevención de pacientes con enfermedades sistémicas, incluyendo enfermedades neoplásicas y cardiovasculares. Summary:
The company form Poland is offering R-Y-D agreement, license and/or joint venture for development of the device and the method for extra-corporeal purification of blood. The product is in conceptual phase of development and needs to be registered in accordance to rules concerning "medical devices". The designed product may support therapy and/or prevent patients from many systemic diseases incl. neoplastic and cardiovascular disease.
Description:
The product concept concerns the extra-corporeal system and method to purify blood of pathogenic enzymes which initiate tumoral process as well as other systemic disease incl. cardiovascular etc.

The system support purification of the blood from the group of peptidase enzymes in particular cathepsin B and L, and calpain.

The removing of these molecules from the blood eliminates the enzymatic degradation of the body´s cells and inflammation process which occurs in the presence of mentioned peptidases.

In the purification system the blood is passed for at least one cycle through membrane containing activated inhibitors of mentioned enzymes attached to insoluble carriers. Enzymes are removed from the blood ex vivo via affinity chromatography.
Advantages and Innovations:
The system and the method are highly innovative (there are no competitive systems on the market). They support removing from blood - via affinity chromatography - pathogenic, carcinogenic and inflammatory agents: proteases belonging to the cathepsin family.
