Una universidad letona ha desarrollado sistemas de sensores inalámbricos para monitorización de objetos y toma de decisiones automática sin la intervención humana. En función de los campos de aplicación, actividades y tipos de sensores inalámbricos, estos sistemas integrados permiten monitorizar, controlar y gestionar el movimiento, velocidad y dirección de un objeto y otras variables como temperatura, humedad, luz, presión, composición de la tierra, etc. El sistema integrado se configura como un chip ROM con un programa almacenado y también puede incluir un sistema operativo. La universidad busca socios con el fin de establecer acuerdos comerciales con asistencia técnica.

A university from Latvia has developed embedded wireless sensor systems for object monitoring and automated decision making without human intervention. The embedded systems, depending on application fields, tasks and wireless sensor types, allow to monitor/control/manipulate motion, object´s speed, direction, temperature, humidity, light, pressure, composition of the land, and other. The university is looking for commercial agreement with technical assistance.
Description:
A technologically oriented university from Latvia has developed embedded wireless sensor systems for process control and automated decision making without human intervention. The operational information systems and technical system´s software which are adapted to specific applications ensures high reliability of processes and precise manipulation with objects. The embedded system is set up as a ROM chip with a stored program. The embedded systems may also include an operating system. The process management automation facilitates faster, more productive and better performance, increases the safety of processes and reduces operational costs. In particular, the embedded systems are also applicable and advisable in the social sphere (sick people, care of preterm babies)and in agriculture (manipulation of agricultural machinery and monitoring/controlling environmental parameters). The developed embedded systems are a low cost, low power consumption, multi functional miniature efficient data processing, data storage and include communication system. The systems are built into manageable objects and provides an optimal performance mode for pre-programmed operations. The universal controller is designed for highly precise automation tasks. Software development ensures functional customization of the system.
The university is looking for commercial agreement with technical assistance including contracts for the system´s adaptation to specific needs and technology consulting. The system developers offer professional advice, to find and correct faults that prevent correct operation and provide system updates.
