Description:
The company is an innovative Spanish mechanical engineering SME focused on mechanical products development, especially carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) hybrid solutions (CFRP+Aluminum)
The company developed this cost-effective solution to meet the needs of the market in terms of lightweight products and easy manufacturing.
The solution creatively encompasses carbon fiber within aluminum profiles. The main underlying concept is positioning carbon-fiber only and exclusively on the parts of the profile where it is possible to mechanically get the most of their outstanding properties while keeping inherent aluminum assembly flexibility.
It is an exceptional compromise between mechanical properties and cost when compared with aluminium and full CFRP parts respectively.
According to the first case studies, the technology offers outstanding mechanical properties when compared to extruded aluminium.
Since it keeps the aluminium envelope with all its assembly possibilities (i.e. welding and screwing), it represents a lean design upgrade without major changes in terms of production procedures.
The final product can take any conceivable shape for a wide range of potential applications from aerospace to renewable energies through high productivity machinery and railway industry, among others.
The company´s will is to find innovative companies willing to drastically upgrade their current solution without costly development projects just by changing their current aluminium/steel profile.
A joint venture is sought for the exploitation of this new material.
For a specific application, Technical or Research cooperation agreement with companies or R-Y-D Institutions are possible too.

Considering its high stiffness, it is most suitable for large and svelte components with high mechanical requirements:
· Keep both material´s advantages (CFRP and aluminium) and offers a new design concept for companies willing to improve the mechanical properties either by diminishing weight/size or increasing stiffness.
· Outstanding mechanical properties when compared to extruded aluminium.
· Keeping all the aluminium assembly possibilities - welding and fastening.
· New profile optimization possibilities for lightweight designs.
· Excellent compromise between mechanical properties and cost. While it´s mechanical properties are closer to full CFRP parts, its cost is closer to aluminium instead.
· Quick-time-to-market solution as an off-the-shelf product for a wide range of markets.(CFRP)
