The Hungarian SME believes that only certified information guarantees a product´s origin.
Two conditions must be met to qualify information as certified: trusted uniqueness and trusted origin.

Trusted Uniqueness: the foil of the marker supports uniqueness with around 15,000 randomly created pores within one square millimetre. This nano scale is the strength against replication. One could say this foil gives each product a fingerprint.

Trusted Origin: the protected data content of this marker contains product data and is authorized by a brand owner´s digital signature. By using Public Key Infrastructure, brand owners are the sole issuers of protected products. This transparently verifies product origin.

How does it work?

· The Hungarian SME sells labels to brand owners or packaging partners and provides brand protection services.

Their technology provides authentic proof of product origin and a system for tracking and enforcing IP rights. Markers are impossible to replicate. Check process eliminates human error and no vulnerable database is used. Markers also give brands a digital marketing platform.

The SME´s security label consists of nanotech foil and protected data. Together, these two components authenticate a product. The basis of the technology is the aforementioned nanotech foil, which guarantees security through its micrometre scale and manufacturing technology. It is impossible to reproduce any foil even with the same equipment.
The other pillar of their guaranteed security is the manufacturer´s electronic signature. The Hungarian SME uses the globally trusted public key infrastructure by uniquely generated protected data matching each foil (in QR format). Therefore, each product carries a totally unique label.

Additionally the secure label contains information about:

· Serial number
· Any other information requested by the manufacturer

The check result screen displays product verification and any information stored within the marker. Brand owners can store custom information within the marker: company name, brand, product name, country, production date, batch number, etc.
