La empresa lleva a cabo actividades de investigación y desarrollo y ofrece pruebas de campo in situ de ingeniería geotécnica y química. The SME is active in research and development activities and can offer on-site field tests of geotechnical and chemical engineering. The SME is looking for research, technical and service agreement, mainly in Europe and extra-UE. It is open also to joint venture Agreement.
Description:
The startup derives from an Academy environment and has been founded by professors, researchers, engineers and technician aimed at sharing with Contractors and Engineering and Chemical Companies the knowledge acquired in years of research activity in the field of chemical treatment of soils.
The SME develops research activities in cooperation with Contractors, chemical and engineering Companies, Italian and European industrial Groups and other research groups in the world. The SME has developed a series of experimental protocols able to provide in a short time the elements necessary for the management of the injection of chemicals into the soil, adapting to the companies´ requirements in the field of tunnelling and other engineering applications. The procedures for selecting the type of product and the dosage to be adopted are developed in particularly equipped laboratories.
The SME currently perform:
- preliminary analysis for the choice of the suitable product or dosages to be used during specific engineering projects;
- on site assistance;
- environmental impact evaluations and projects of remediation, waste management and soil reuse for specific projects.
The SME can support the public administrations in the fulfilment of their role of controlling the correct execution of the works in compliance with the current regulations. We develop experimental protocols for the management of the debris produced by the excavation in the current national and international disciplines and on-site monitoring services for disposal activities.
Companies interested in developing chemical products (i.e. foaming agents, polymers, products and chemicals for injection) to be used in the construction of civil engineering works and to evaluate their performance can rely on The SME for specific studies and experimental activities aimed at verifying their effectiveness and environmental sustainability.
The offered services include test procedures developed ad hoc by The SME in its research activity as well as assessment tests well known in the scientific literature.
These experimental activities are always performed with a specifically developed equipment able to recreate operative conditions similar to those on site. The results are evaluated in relation to a consolidated technical background and a constantly evolving knowledge framework.
The most suitable experimental approach is decided each time according to the intended use of the product and to the customer´s needs.
THE SME currently performs laboratory tests on soils, chemicals and other materials, following national and international standards, in close collaboration with academic department and experts of structural, geotechnical and chemical engineering, materials and environment.
In details, the following activities are performed:
· · physical, chemical and eco-toxicological tests on chemical products;
· tests on generated foam;
· geotechnical and chemical tests on soil samples;
· geotechnical, chemical and eco - toxicological tests on conditioned soil;
· on-site control tests;
The company is open to joint venture agreement with other international partners and offer service and technical Agreement. Moreover, partners are sought for research cooperation agreement to assess new potential markets, to develop a second generation of the monitoring system and ad hoc solutions to integrate it in different contexts.
