El material obtenido, de bajo coste, presenta unas características cuantitativas mejoradas en términos de conductividad térmica y absorción de agua. Este material se utiliza en la fabricación de bloques para paredes. Se buscan socios interesados en aplicar la tecnología y vender la licencia.

A technology for manufacturing low-density building blocks with improved characteristics
Summary:
A Ukrainian company has developed and tested a new technology for manufacturing noncontracting non-auctoclaved high precision porous concrete with smaller pore size, without use of sand or crushed stone. The obtained material has lower cost and higher qualitative characteristics such as thermal conductivity and water absorption. It can be used for manufacturing wall building blocks.
The authors are looking for application in other regions. Possible engineering, selling a license, etc.
Description:
The known manufacturers of porous concrete building blocks produce autoclaved gas concrete of density of 400 kg/m3 and higher. Gas concrete provides necessary thermal protection of buildings when the thickness of containing walls is more then 40 cm. Gas concrete is manufactured under conditions of stationary production in the form of masonry blocks and requires long-time heat autoclave processing under high pressure. The process of gas concrete manufacture requires lime as one of the components, the material whose cost is approximately 1.5 times higher then that of cement. The above-mentioned peculiarities of the gas concrete production essentially affect its cost price. Autoclaved gas concrete is an expensive material.
The proposed technology allows to reduce the cost of aerated concrete building blocks. A combined technology for making water-cement bubble mixture porous concrete with improved technical characteristics for manufacturing building masonry blocks of non-autoclaved light porous concrete with properties not inferior to those of autoclaved gas concrete. Moreover, the proposed porous concrete exceeds gas concrete in surface quality of blocks, precision of geometric size, strength.
Building blocks of the given density from 250 to 500 kg/m3 are manufactured under plant conditions.
Testing of porous cement building blocks of density of D250-400 showed strength of 20-25 kg/cm2.
The proposed combined technology for manufacturing water-cement bubble porous concrete mixtures and on their base porous concrete, is implemented in two-stage mixing process of water-cement mixtures using some physical phenomena of hydro-activation of water-cement suspension, cavitation processing of cement and a developed innovative admixture which have proved their high efficiency.
As a result not only technological characteristics of concrete, such as plasticity, storage capacity, but also physical ones: strength, homogeneity etc. are improved.

Advantages and Innovations:

Advantages of the proposed technology as compared with gas concrete production technology are:
1. reducing amount of cement used without loss of quality of porous concrete by 15÷20%;
2. 2-2.5-fold increase of productivity at the expense of reduction of duration of technological cycle;
3. 1.3-1.7 times increase of strength and other properties of cement stone and porous concrete;
4. 2.2-2.3 times reduction in power consumption of the process;
5. the proposed technology can be implemented both at the existing plants and on other grounds without essential investments.
