Un centro de investigación letón especializado en neurociencias, y en concreto en diagnósticos del estado neurológico y fisiológico de humanos, ofrece una tecnología de monitorización, análisis y predicción de parámetros fisiológicos que se encuentra en fase de prototipo. La principal ventaja es el uso de algoritmos de cálculo individual y análisis del cuerpo humano en tiempo real. El sistema mide y analiza parámetros como frecuencia cardíaca (HR), electroencefalograma (EEG) y respuesta galvánica de la piel (GSR), y realiza predicciones del usuario con algoritmos de cálculo individual. A diferencia de otros dispositivos similares, este sistema permite la movilidad total del usuario, sin limitaciones en su vida diaria. El centro de investigación busca socios en I+D para continuar con el desarrollo y establecer un acuerdo de cooperación en materia de investigación.

A research centre from Latvia specialised in neuroscience, especially focusing on human neurological and physiological status diagnostics, is offering physiological parameter monitoring, analysis and prediction technology, developed up to a working prototype. The main advantages of the technology are real time body analysis and individual calculation algorithms. The research centre is looking for R-Y-D partners for further development of the technology offering research cooperation agreements.
Description:
The research centre was founded uniting experienced medical specialists and researchers from neuroscience field.

The developed system perform real time measuring and analysis of physiological parameters such as heart rate (HR), electroencephalogram (EEG) and galvanic skin reaction (GSR) and make forecast for user, based on individual calculation algorithms. Compared to existing similar devices, this system allow full mobility of the user, as well as, no restrictions on daily life.

The program provides regular information gathering that is constantly being processed, allowing to keep track of body´s functioning characteristics. Program mathematically computes a prediction how the health status may change and in case of unfavourable outcome, using feedback, will first notify the user himself, and second - contact with the people chosen by the same user and report to them on the negative changes in user´s health condition.

The research centre is looking for R-Y-D project partners able to miniaturise existing prototype to be easy wearable (like glasses) for personal all-day use, transmitting data to smartphone for evaluation and decision making for feedback to wearer. The research centre is offering a research cooperation agreement as well as looking for investors to commercialise the system.
Advantages and Innovations:
The main advantage of the proposed system is real time information registration about the status of the human body, signal analysis and evaluation using more than 30 years´ experience in the field of electro-physiological indicators, which allows to verify the normal body condition for people of all ages.

The team has developed evaluation criteria for very early detection of health problems (prenosology stadium) using heart rate variability, skin galvanic reaction and brain electrical activity.

The new device is non-invasive, lightweight, handy, compact, waterproof and shockproof, cheap and worn on the head.
