The company was established 25 years ago. Innovation in agro-food area has become driving power of the company. By applying this technology fermentation works on a principle of the dominant micro flora. The culture of lactic acid bacteria (a mixture of multiple strains) is added to a fresh juice which is extracted from a beetroot. That pure culture acts as the dominant micro flora, obtained during the process of squeezing a beetroot. This dominant micro flora determines the direction of fermentation which is stimulated by the temperature in the fermentor. During a fermentation process, the bacteria creates useful products such as lactic acid, various minerals and vitamin complex and one of the most important is the complex vitamin B. This process helps to avoid pungency that beetroot has, which is not case in existing production technology. Also, through this manufacturing process it is possible to preserve anthocyanin along with vitamins and minerals which have anti-cancer qualities, which one of significant advantages. Technology is applicable on variety of different fruits and vegetables.
