Un grupo de científicos polacos ha desarrollado una serie de dispositivos para mejorar la fusión selectiva de haces láser. Este proceso se utiliza en la fabricación de objetos de pequeño tamaño. La implantación de la tecnología permite aumentar la eficacia del proceso de producción y reducir tiempo y costes. La tecnología se encuentra disponible para demostración. Se buscan socios interesados en continuar con el desarrollo y empresas para iniciar la producción bajo licencia (acuerdos de cooperación técnica y licencia).

Summary:
A group of Polish scientists has developed a snap-in used in the devices for selective laser beam melting. This process is used in the production of small-sized objects. Implementation of the technology increases production efficiency by reducing cost and time.

The scientists are looking for partners interested in further developing the technology as well as companies interested in starting production under license therefore technical cooperation and license agreements are offered.
Description:
A group of researchers from North-West Poland has developed a snap-in applicable in to the device used for selective laser beam melting (SLM - selective laser melting).

The process is used in small-sized objects production while consuming small amount of powder. Usually applying the powder into the working SLM chamber is very difficult and problematic. The offered solution allows to skip powder delivery. This ensures the proper processes going on without having to use mentioned powders and other expensive materials in large quantities. Due to the lack of powder feeding system operations of changing the material are reduced to a minimum.

The researchers are looking for partners for further development of the solution and companies that would like to implement it and start production under a license agreement. Technical cooperation and license agreements are offered.
Advantages and Innovations:
The snap-in reduces powder feeding which significantly cut down on the production time and cost:
- reduced amount of materials used in the production process up to 50 %
- reduction of working time up to 20%

The snap-in is applicable in devices used for small-sized niche elements. The solution is simplifying the small elements production.
