Description:
A Dutch innovative company is active in the area of organic waste recycling. They focus on processing methods striving for the highest possible environmental and economical yield. This means upgrading the organic waste materials to the highest possible quality level, before returning them to the life-cycle for a sustainable society. In their vision, organic waste materials should be re-used at the highest possible quality level.

The enormous potential of organic waste materials in Europe is up till now not adequately utilized for the production of valuable end products. The past 25 years governments stimulated the mass building of composting plants for processing biomass waste materials. In recent years the fermentation technique has improved. The composting process has become almost obsolete due to new innovations. With the composting process, a lot of effort is put into processing the waste materials and a lot of the energy potential present in the bio-mass is lost in the form of heat and greenhouse gasses. The sector of processors of organic waste materials has acknowledged this and is currently looking for better alternatives. The woody biomass materials find their way to bio-energy plants, and serve as principal and auxiliary fuel for the coal plants or are used in the Torre faction process. This sector has since decided to work on the fermentation of their non-woody biomass.

Unfortunately, most waste materials used by composters are not suitable for fermentation and the streams that do qualify have to undergo an expensive pre-treatment to be used in the fermentation process. Therefore the Dutch company has developed a new conversion technology for most green waste materials such as roadside cuttings, leaves, horticulture and agriculture waste materials. In an especially developed plant, based on a patented cold-wet refinery technique, these waste materials are separated into 100% reusable sub materials:
· A lignocellulose fibre that can be used for cardboard, isolation material, building board, chemistry, animal bedding and bio-fuel;
· An organic juice concentrate containing proteins, sugars, amino acids for bio plastics, biogas and fine chemicals;
· A mineral juice concentrate that contains nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, spores for fertilizers and other chemicals.

In order to extend their market the company is looking for partners active in local waste recovery markets of biomass materials, compost, fertilizers, fibres and paper production, within the framework of commercial agreements with technical assistance. Support can be provided for condition and separation and filtration techniques.
