A company from Kazan has developed a portable technology and device for measuring the water level in artesian wells. The advantage consists of high accuracy and reliability, online acquisition of data, capability to use in slanted well of various depth. The company is looking for a license agreement and/or technical cooperation, including a joint venture.
Description:
Currently, measurement of water level in wells is carried out with several methods, both contact and acoustic. The existing level gages for artesian wells have common disadvantages: low accuracy of measurements; incapability to measure liquid level in slanted wells.
The offered technology is free from the disadvantages, since its measurements are based on echo-wave-metric method. The method consists in determination of signal transmission time to the interface level "air-liquid" and back at the known velocity of elastic wave in air. Due to this, the technology does not require installation of additional wellhead devices, in contrast to analogues using the acoustic measurement method.
The technology in combination with self-contained small-sized patented design makes it possible to generate data with the accuracy up to 0.1%.
The company has a small-scale production of these products.
