Uno de los elementos fundamentales de la máquina de flotación es el aireador, responsable de mezclar y airear la pulpa de flotación. En esta máquina se han realizado modificaciones en el rotor y estator, aumentando la calidad y reduciendo considerablemente el consumo de electricidad del proceso de flotación. El instituto busca socios con el fin de establecer acuerdos de cooperación técnica, investigación y comercialización con asistencia técnica.

The Polish R-Y-D institute is a leading supplier of flotation machines ore enrichment plants. They offer a wide range of design services including selection of optimum flotation processes, machine size and construction, assistance in research projects covering flotation technologies including delivery of machinery with technical support.
In this scope the institute considering cooperation ccommercial agreement with technical assistance and research and/ or technical cooperation agreement.
Description:
The new pneumatic-type flotation machine were designed to carry out flotation process of useful minerals, including non-ferrous metal and coal. The innovative design is the outcome of research and project work conducted at the Institute.
One of the most important elements of the flotation machine is the aerator, responsible for proper mixing and aerating of flotation pulp.
In all known and used flotation machines, the aerator consists of a movable rotor and a stationary stator, whose matching and positioning in the flotation chamber gives the desired effect. So far used impellers were built from a disk mounted perpendicularly or at an angle to the axis of the drive shaft. The disk was attached to a cylinder-shaped body, on which blades were embedded close tightly to the disk. Whereas the stators were built in the form of radially distributed blades, fixed motionless and perpendicular to the bottom of the flotation machine chamber.

In the flotation machine offered by the institute, changes were made to the rotor and stator construction, resulting in improved quality of the enrichment products and a significant reduction in electricity consumption in the flotation process. Innovative aerators are also characterized by longer life span associated with the use of innovative hard-wearing coatings for their production. In addition, the replacement of existing aerators with new ones - presented here is simple and does not require any significant financial investment.

Due to the innovative design the flotation machines can be used in a pulp flotation process in a wide range of solid parts concentration as well as for enrichment of minerals of high specific gravity. The flotation machines of a new type can work as one-cell, but are most often constructed as multi-cell machines. The cell is constructed in a form of a cylindrical tank and volume from 1m3 to 100m3.
The offered solution is also equipped with the latest control and automatic systems. Selection of final dimensions and machine type is based on laboratory tests and verified on a fully automated pilot installation with a throughput of 40-100kg / h.
The innovative approach let us compete with the best which in a short time resulted in gaining trust from leading Polish and international producers of copper, coal, zinc and lead.
The flotation machines can be used for:
· decarbonization of ash,
· utilization (reclamation) of industrial waste dumps (e.g. mine waste dumps) with useful raw materials recovery (e.g. fuel components for regional power plants),
· waste water treatment (aeration) of industrial and urban waste water,
· industrial flue gas desulphurization using wet method combined with synthetic gypsum production.
Partners are sought for commercial agreement with technical assistance, research and/or technical cooperation agreement .

Polish Research and Development Institute will provide technical support to companies interested in implementing the offered flotation technology, including selection of optimum flotation processes, machine size and construction. Institute will also provide assistance in the implementation of research projects. The prospected partner is expected to provide feedback for improvements.
