El producto sólido formado es un concentrado de CuAuAg indicado para procesamiento pirometalúrgico. El instituto busca socios para alcanzar acuerdos de "joint venture", licencia o comercialización.

A Slovak research institute has developed a new procedure of mechanochemical treatment of CuSbAsAuAg sulphuric concentrates enabling the transformation of Sb and As into a liquid phase. The formed solid product is an economical CuAuAg concentrate suitable for pyro-metallurgical processing. They are looking for partners for joint venture agreement or licence agreement. The help with the marketing of this technology is also welcomed.
Description:
A procedure of mechanochemical treatment of CuSbAsAuAg sulphuric concentrates enabling the transformation of Sb and As into a liquid phase has been developed. The formed solid product is an economical CuAuAg concentrate suitable for pyro-metallurgical processing. The procedure has been successfully tested in a pilot plant unit.
The processes of mechanochemical synthesis and mechanochemical reduction are currently developed at the laboratory.
The scope is to prepare the advanced nano-crystalline materials by route of "green" technology. The first results on nano-copper powder preparation will be published soon.

The research institute is looking for partners to cooperate with via joint venture agreement (the institute is looking for a partner for this technological project), licence agreement (the instutute is iffering a license). The help with the marketing of this technology is also welcomed. These types of cooperation have been chosen, because they are fitting todays needs of research institute in the best possible way.

Mechanochemical treatment of solids is one of the components of the modern scientific discipline of mechanics-chemistry.
At present, mechanics-chemistry appears to be a science with a sound theoretical foundation that exhibits a wide range of potential applications. Amongst the commercially operating processes: modification of the properties of building materials, a new method of fertiliser production, activity enhancement and regeneration of catalysts, new methods of producing slow-dispensing medical drugs, control of chemical reactions, and preparation of advanced nano-crystalline materials.

Mechanochemical treatment of minerals and industrial wastes is of exceptional importance in mineral dressing, extractive metallurgy, and is a promising area in preparation of advanced materials.
