Un instituto de investigación búlgaro con más de 40 años de experiencia en investigación y desarrollo de tecnologías y productos especializados ha desarrollado un telémetro láser, una unidad electrónica caracterizada por un alto rango de medida, mediciones por minuto, precisión de la medida y amplia memoria para el almacenamiento de la medida. El telémetro láser utiliza un haz láser para determinar la distancia a un objeto. El nuevo producto soluciona los problemas de precisión y rango y permite que el rango de distancia de medida sea de 50 a 20000 m, pudiendo medir hasta 10 blancos en una línea recta. La precisión de la medida es de 5 m. El instituto de investigación busca socios con experiencia en tecnologías láser y de defensa con el fin de establecer acuerdos comerciales con asistencia técnica.

Description:
A Bulgarian research institute has developed an electronic unit applicable for laser rangefinders. The unit has expertise in R-Y-D and engineering in defence technologies and in the space research domain. The institute has experience in international collaboration and joint projects implementation.

A laser rangefinder is a rangefinder that uses a laser beam to determine the distance to an object. The most common form of laser rangefinder operates on the time of flight principle by sending a laser pulse in a narrow beam towards the object and measuring the time taken by the pulse to be reflected off the target and returned to the sender. Due to the high speed of light, this technique may be not appropriate for high precision measurements, where triangulation and other techniques are often used.

The innovative product addresses the problems of precision and range i.e. it allows the measurement distance range to be from 50 to 20000 m, allowing to measure up to 10 targets in a straight line. The precision of the measurement is 5 m. The laser range finder has an integrated compass and clock (dd/mm/yyhh/min/sec). The remote control has a range of up to 30 m. The specialized device can store up to 200 targets. Measurements: up to 6 per minute. The working temperature is from - 50 C° to + 50 C°.
