Description:
Traditional energy assessments and audits rely heavily on manual performance assessment through experts. There is often a trial-and-error approach and limited stakeholder engagement. Offering a completely digital solution, a Singapore company with decades of research, experience and knowledge on green building technologies and digital tools has developed an instant energy assessment and energy efficient collaboration tool for the built environment.

The virtual energy audit tool developed by the Singapore SME is applicable to different types of buildings in cities and uses multiphysics models, machine learning and digital footprint data from various sources, for example: open source, crowd source and data inputs. The platform will be continuously updated with building data as well as technology parametric data to be able to help building owners, consultants and technology providers to dynamically assess building performance.

The Singapore SME seeks French or European SMEs with expertise in digital modelling, IoT and data management to co-develop and adapt the tool for their respective local cities via the following types of agreements:

1) Research cooperation - Both companies will cooperate on the co-development and adaptation of the new tool.

2) Technical cooperation - Resources are pooled and skills are shared between both parties in the development of the technical aspects of the tool.

- High-performance digital twins, e.g. virtual simulation, modelling and Machine Learning (ML)
- Engaging building sector stakeholders via digital platform technology
- Promoting energy efficiency, sustainability and carbon emissions reduction to manage the climate crisis

- Time-saving: At scale across portfolios in no time, 50-70% faster than on-site audits
- Cost-effective: 60-80% cheaper than traditional audits

- Knowledgeable of and have access to local French/European environmental standards for the built environment
