1. Technical objective: develop the prototype of evaporative cooling electromagnetic mixer for square billet and slab and put it into operation.
2. Technology content:
1) Calculation and analysis of parameters of evaporative cooling electromagnetic mixer including: electromagnetic field, mechanical strength, ventilation, temperature field, vibration, etc. And provide calculation report and general software application method.
2) Carry out comprehensive technology, process and cost analysis on the basis of the plan and provide analysis report; Conduct overall design, prototype development and type test to verify prototype performance.
3) Organize training for the company, including application of general computing software, comprehensive cost of electromagnetic mixer, technical analysis and design and development, etc.

Technical Specification or Expertise Sought:
The thermal principle of evaporative cooling is to use the latent heat of vaporization from boiling fluid to take away the heat. Compared with traditional air-cooling and water-cooling, this technology has much higher cooling efficiency. The evaporation cooling heat dissipation is 500w/cm2, which is 6250 times that of natural air-cooling (0.08w/cm2), 312.5 times that of forced air cooling (1.6w/cm2), and 31 times that of water cooling (16w/cm2). Therefore, the implementation of this project is a groundbreaking for the improvement of the cooling mode of the mixer, the performance and service life of mixers.
