The South West SME is the UK´s premier supplier of patient flow management solutions to the hospital outpatient sector.

The majority of patients receive hospital healthcare and treatment as outpatients through clinic appointments and walk in services e.g. blood tests, X-rays in Outpatient Departments (OPDs). OPDs are notorious for being inefficient and are widely recognised as being the least patient friendly services delivered by healthcare organisations. As a result, productivity, outcomes and patient satisfaction are regularly compromised with direct financial and service quality consequences to the healthcare provider.

The UK company is a bespoke supplier of solutions for OPDs. Their suite of programmes has been developed by drawing on years of experience and expertise in patient flow, the patient journey and customer service.

The company works with over 80 leading UK hospitals including the Royal Free London, Bart´s and University College London Hospitals, has distributors in Australia and the Middle East.

The company is keen to expand its product portfolio and seeks partners with complementary healthcare management software solutions to enhance and integrate with their existing patient flow management solutions.

Of particular interest are solutions which address hospital bed management and Accident and Emergency department patient flow and management. Solutions must demonstrate they lead to improvements in hospital efficiency, productivity, reduce costs and increase revenues and lead to better healthcare outcomes and overall patient and staff satisfaction.

The company will consider various collaborations including:

Commercial agreement with technical assistance: the UK company will require assistance with initial software installation, training and support from the partner.

License agreement: the partner company will continue to maintain and develop the application and the UK company (acting as the owner) will distribute the solution.

Joint venture agreement: the UK company could invest financially or technically to co-develop the application, to integrate it in existing healthcare management software.

Solutions should be capable of being integrated into the companies patient flow management solutions which are built on industry standard Microsoft stack and designed to operate in a Microsoft server and SQL environment. Solutions should run a client server model with the client running in a web browser, -Y- the server logic and database running on a separate web server, be mobile friendly and integrate with hospital systems via Health Level 7 messaging channels or other proprietary interface solutions.
