Description:
Well-established Czech company specializes in import and distribution of medical accessories and diapers disposal systems intended particularly for the social and healthcare facilities. Among their final customers are mostly business entities which focus on servicing elderly people, the longer bedridden patients or wheelchairs users. The company was established in 2012, but the managing director has more than 15 years of experience in the medical sphere.

Used disposable diapers contain organic waste, synthetic materials and also certain chemical compounds which make them challenging for recycling. Currently, most of the used diapers end up on the landfill and since they are not made of biodegradable materials they do not decompose in natural environment. As a company which focus also on distribution of diaper disposal systems, the Czech SME has good overview of the disposable diaper value chain and its recycling. Currently, there are not ecologically efficient solutions on the Czech market for the diaper recycling. Current model of diaper disposing creates heavy ecological burden on the regional recycling system. The Czech SME would like to find and implement feasible solution for diapers recycling in the region and to address the ecological challenge in accordance with circular economy model.
