Description:
A company is looking for a complete multi-functional traffic management technology that would enable automatic and self-sustaining traffic control in cities. The company is currently managing transport in several different size cities with legacy systems and looking for a new, sustainable smart traffic control solution.

This technological solution must connect between 50 - 1000 traffic lights creating green corridors for efficient traffic flow. Technology should provide an opportunity for a legacy system to be fully integrated and receive a live traffic data feed that would enable future traffic flow predictions and effective management solutions. Technology must be able to take live data and apply it to efficient traffic control in the operating area preventing traffic jams and severe delays.

It is envisaged that this technology will have an artificial intelligence built in, which will provide an ability for it to predict effective traffic control on historical data and react quickly to unexpected situation such as traffic coalition by redirecting the flow through other areas. In addition to this it must must be suitable to incorporate multiple forms of traffic and consider various elements affecting it.

Working under the commercial agreement with technical support partnership it is envisaged that it would not be just a strict sales deal, but a development partnership allowing development of the effective and efficient traffic control solution.
Technical Specification or Expertise Sought:
System must be able to connect and consider various modes on transport (buses, trolley buses, all forms of motor vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians). It is essential that system could be easily integrated with existing infrastructure without a need of additional investment in this area as well as fully connected with satellite imaging.

Supplier or a developer is expected to have enough resources and capacity for a large scale projects. While working under the commercial agreement with technical assistance, it is expected that developer will be making customization to the system through the process and fully documenting for future maintenance.
