Una universidad y un centro de investigación de arquitectura de Reino Unido buscan socios industriales dentro y fuera de Europa con el fin de establecer acuerdos de cooperación técnica e investigación. El objetivo es desarrollar un proyecto en el área de publicidad exterior: medios interactivos, ubicuos y disruptivos. El consorcio trabaja con expertos y socios en diseño arquitectónico/urbano y marketing y busca colaboración con expertos de diferentes disciplinas y sectores (realidad aumentada y medios interactivos, digitales, ubicuos y disruptivos) interesados en trabajar en el campo de medios/tecnologías digitales emergentes. El socio industrial se unirá a un amplio consorcio de la UE. Inicialmente será un proyecto autofinanciado pero el objetivo es que se convierta en un proyecto de mayor envergadura financiado por la UE.

The industry partner will join an established EU wide consortium. This project will initially be self-funded but could develop into a larger collaborative EU funded project.
Description:
This internationally acclaimed UK university is looking to develop an existing consortium made up of EU partners across business, government, research institutes, academia and non-governmental organisations that will lead to ground-breaking research, technological innovation, improvements to the built urban environment and consequent economic and societal impact. The focus of the proposed research will be on digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising.

The consortium is working with leading experts and partners in architectural/urban design and marketing and are seeking a collaboration with experts from a wide range of disciplines and sectors with interests in augmented, interactive, digital, pervasive and disruptive media, wishing to work on emerging digital media/technologies, imaginative/radical marketing concepts, and leading-edge ideas in relation to digital outdoor advertising.

The project will be defined in conversation with the consortium partners, but will potentially address the following objectives:

· To develop and test practical applications that effectively address the question as to how DOOH advertising content can be embedded in three-dimensional urban spaces (hybrid space) from a design quality, public space, and societal perspective.

· To study the dynamic and integrative relationship between people and places in the context of everyday life and emerging links between the material and immaterial world of DOOH advertising, to develop responsive advertising, sensitive to both commercial needs, and urban aesthetic and societal considerations.

· To promote good design and to contribute to the provision of a sound evidence base for policy and practice, including the development of prototypes.
