Un instituto letón ha desarrollado una tecnología para convertir la luz en electricidad. La tecnología consiste en convertidores de radiación electromagnética que transforman la luz en electricidad y que pueden utilizarse para la fabricación de células solares altamente eficientes. En comparación con las tecnologías similares, esta tecnología aumenta el haz incidente del factor de conversión de radiación electromagnética, incrementando la capacidad de absorción de radiación electromagnética en el convertidor. El instituto busca socios con el fin de establecer acuerdos comerciales con asistencia técnica.

Description:
The institute from Latvia, involved in physical energetics field, have developed a technology that relates to converters of light radiation energy into electrical energy, and can be used in manufacturing high-efficiency elements for solar batteries. Compared to similar technologies in field, the aim of this technology is to increase the incident beam of electromagnetic radiation conversion factor of electrical energy, increasing electromagnetic light radiation absorption capacity in convertor. Also, the production technology of electromagnetic light radiation converter in electrical energy is simplified.
Institute is looking for commercial agreement with companies, industries and other institutes interested in this technology in order to implement it in solar cells.
Advantages and Innovations:
Electromagnetic radiation converter into electrical energy has high (85%) conversion coefficient of the incident beam of electromagnetic radiation of electrical energy diapason wavelengths from infrared radiation to ultraviolet radiation due to increased electromagnetic converter of light absorptive capacity.
