The company is looking for a cooperation within the scope of a manufacturer agreement, research agreement or technical cooperation.
Description:
The German company has many years of experience in the processing of mineral castings.
The development idea is based on a planned project of an e-bike manufacturer, a battery manufacturer and several municipal administrations and public utilities in Saxony-Anhalt (Magdeburg, Halle ...) to create a system of e-bike rental and recharging stations, which will make such vehicles available to citizens and tourists unproblematically and largely nationwide. At the same time, the charging stations should blend aesthetically into the cityscape or the environment.
The charging station consists of a base plate with guide grooves for the bicycle (or also for several bicycles) as well as an integrated column with charging and securing function, which is made of mineral casting (also known as polymer concrete). The new station will incorporate specially modified electronics including vehicle monitoring and protection for contactless battery charging.
The environmental relevance is particularly high for the material mineral casting (recycling of this material is unproblematic and tried and tested on various examples, negative environmental influences are not known). Potential partners should take over the production of the charging stations within the framework of a manufacturing agreement. The development or adaptation to the corresponding e-bike types would be possible in a research agreement. The company is also open to technical cooperation.
Advantages and Innovations:
The most important advantages of mineral cast charging stations are:

- No foundation or complex screw connections necessary (stable due to design and tare weight).
- Good and durable colouring as well as a sophisticated design are possible.
- Good resistance to relevant external influences (high thermal stability, good chemical resistance ...). Damage caused by vandalism (e.g. intensive impact) can be corrected relatively easily.
- Unproblematic integration into already existing paved areas in inner cities, promenades, Bank paths by taking up the laid paving according to the size of the base plate.
- Special shapes (e.g. regional design requirements) can easily be realised due to the flexibility of the technology and the material.
- More than 25 years of experience with the processing of mineral castings enable the desired series production (for mineral castings with the typical one-off or small series production).
