They are deeply specialized in monitoring and control systems based on non contact sensors (infrared, laser, radio frequency, etc.) and fiber optic. They also develop their own sensor systems and can adapt sensors to harsh and extreme environmental conditions.

This spanish company has developed a sensor and measuring systems´ based solutions provider. It can monitor temperature and deformation of kilns with non contact technology (thermography, non contact displacement sensors), can also control fans authomatically. This system is especially sought by cement/magnesite/lime producers. These plants have rotary kilns as part of their industrial processes.

The system was developed with a cement company for the cement sector. It is very competitive in price/performance ratio, and includes the latest technology and includes state of the art infrared cameras and an user friendly software that monitors alarms, measures kiln deformation/displacement, kiln temperature and has fan control.

The company pretend to reach a commercial agreement with technical assistance to arrange the acquisition of the system paired with the provision of advice for its installation and customer services, furthermore, accomplish a long term relationship with those companies to promote the technology transfer and cooperation for the development of the measure-technologies´ applications.

Innovation in monitoring and control:

-The system acquires and analyses the thermal images to obtain point to point temperature data from the kiln to detect hot spots.


Advantages of the system:

-Configuration: the system configuration is done via an easy and intuitive interface facilitating the first steps with the software.

-Real time view: view both direct thermal images from the cameras and the reconstructed profile of the kiln in real time.

-Historie data: save data in pre-configured time intervals to study them later and to follow up the kiln behaviour during production.

-Alarm configuration: it offers the possibility to configure up to 8 temperature alarm zones, with two temperatures configurable: warning and alarm temperature.

-Refractory maintenance: refractory configurations can be done and saved. Twenty different refractory zones can be configured
throughout the kiln specifying type of material, conductivity and thickness.

-Device diagnostics: the correct functioning of all the devices included in the system can be checked through the software in the diagnostics window.

-Fan control: another important feature is the fan control system. The software will detect the different alarm levels that are programmable individually by the operator and it will actuate the different fans automatically.

-Tire slip monitoring: Special high temperature proximity sensors are installed close to the slip rings. These sensors calculate and monitor the slip ring displacement with regards to the synchronizing ringo.

-Shadow monitoring: For those areas where there is no direct vision from the cameras, the system includes high performance IR temperature sensors. These temperature measurements are added to the thermal images to complete the view and the gathering of all the temperature points of the kiln like if there were no shade for the cameras.
