Description:
Lithuanian herbal tea manufacturer produces wide variety of teas. The assortment of teas comprises around 200 different products which are all high quality medicinal herbal teas. The variety of products are composed of around 100 different types of plants. The tea ingredients are usually herbs, but they can also be a specific part of a tree or bush: bark, roots, fruits, leaves, blossoms and buds.

The company is looking for a technology that allows oxidation ("fermentation") of dried herbs. Some types of herbal teas need to be oxidized but the oxidation process becomes challenging after the herbs had been dried. The reason for drying herbs in the first place is that the herbs are collected from various places in the wild nature and dried at the location of collection. Only then they are transported to a factory where they are processed further.

The sought-after technology should re-initiate the oxidation process in dry herbs and reach oxidation levels to a certain degree. The whole process shall not corrupt the tea-character of herbs.

The company is seeking a technical cooperation agreement with a partner who has expertise in food processing, food rehydration or similar. The partner should provide a complete solution to the problem.
